3D printer SkyOne for printing clamp
A clamp is one of a back-up tool type, which is used for clutching and fixation of some details for processing time, or for pressing of details to each other, as an example, during filing, drilling or glueing. Usually clamps are made from metal or wood.
We made a clamp from P-Carbon filament. We remind that this is an impact resistant carbon-filled (5%) plastic for printing of gears, noise-proof frames, mechanically loaded parts. It performs high hemical resistance to acid and alkali solutions, fats, oils, xylene, benzine, kerosene. Due to low shrinkage (below 0.8%) and high abrasion resistance, filament P-Carbonprovides a perfect alternative to nylon. It easily can be drilled, cut a thread and processed by a dremel tool.
We can mention, that P-Carbon can take on any forms, regardless of implementing structural complexity.
So on - 3D printer SkyOne, P-Carbon filament - and the clamp is ready.
